Rock the Night Away: The Impact Continues Beyond the Event
Our community gathered for SAVAC’s Rock the Night Away on Thursday, October 8. With 90s country-inspired looks and a shared commitment to SAVAC’s mission, the evening brought people together for a cause that matters. While the event has passed, the impact of a community that shows up, gives back, and supports survivors doesn’t end when the night does.
Rock the Night Away would not have been possible without the members of our community who attended, volunteered, sponsored, or otherwise supported the event. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening a reality and helped support SAVAC’s ongoing advocacy for survivors.
"Rock the Night Away was more than a wonderful evening; it was a powerful reminder that our community stands with survivors," said SAVAC Executive Director Kristy Lawson. "We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, or supported the event. Your generosity and commitment help SAVAC continue providing advocacy and support to survivors long after the music ends. The impact continues because our community continues to show up."

Community Support for Rock the Night Away
Rock the Night Away was an opportunity for our community to come together in support of a meaningful cause. From those who attended to everyone who helped organize and support the event, we appreciate all who played a part in making the evening possible.
One of our favorite parts of Rock the Night Away was seeing everyone embrace the 90s country theme! From Dolly Parton-inspired looks to Shania Twain outfits and other country-inspired styles, our community brought its creativity and personality to the evening. Thank you to everyone who dressed up, attended, volunteered, and helped make the event special.
Beyond the outfits and fun, Rock the Night Away was a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support an important cause. SAVAC works to connect survivors of sexual assault and other forms of abuse with resources and support. We are grateful to everyone who showed up for SAVAC and helped further its mission.
